User Satisfaction Survey

Have just completed a draft User Satisfaction Survey on Survey Monkey.

I suspect I'll need to go in and play with the logic - scary thought but I'm leaving that for another day.

Library Intranet Renewal

Have just finished reading "What every intranet team should know" by James Robertson from Step Two DESIGNS www.steptwo.com.au

Projects on the go

The end of the library shared drive project is in sight. I anticipate a flurry of activity over the next three months. The official end date for the project is 18 December but in reality the change over to the Enterprise Classification Scheme should be at least a month earlier to allow the project team to address any issues before the team breaks up.

The Library Intranet Renewal project is cranking up. Need to finalise the membership of the Reference Group and start organising the workshop.

And today we looked at how Information Management could contribute to the Research Information Improvement project.

The best channels

It may well be "all information", but what I'm thinking about is matching the channel - blog, wiki. web site etc to the sort of information you want to convey.

I feel a matrix coming on.

This blog was set up in January 2009 as part of the requirements to complete 23things at the University of Melbourne, Library.

I haven't revisited it since then but when your boss and her boss are both blogging it makes sense to join in.

I want to use the blog to reflect on the information management challenges I meet in my job.
